About the Course

Structured thinking is one of the most important concepts in effective communication. Having a solid structure builds confidence in communicating and helps present ideas clearly and concisely.

Based on Minto’s Pyramid Principle, the course explores how to efficiently structure thinking, establish hypotheses, develop compelling arguments, and simplify complex messages.

To instil practical application of pyramid thinking, team exercises are embedded throughout the course analysing several relevant publicly available articles.

Participants learn the principles of pyramid thinking and gain first hand experience of applying the approach, with a view to immediately using in their day-to-day work.

Course Owner

Jonathan Cooper-Bagnall

I've led some amazing consulting firms in the UK and North America, and had the opportunity to work with executive committees around the world to help them solve some of their most complex challenges.

Today, working with the next generation of talented consulting professionals and sharing the things I learned on my journey to the top of the consulting profession is a privilege. It's exciting to see our participants developing their knowledge and skills, and moving forward on their own consulting journey.
