About the Course

Data is a strategic asset and being accomplished in storytelling with data is now an essential business skill. The ability to communicate across a wide range of audiences and tell an engaging story with data is key to making critical insights persuasive and memorable.


This course focuses on the science and art of data storytelling, particularly the three core elements of data, narrative, and visuals. It covers how and why people respond to stories, and how factual data is interpreted and influenced by emotion and cognitive processing.


Case studies from industry leading institutions and interactive team exercise are used to enhance the learning experience.


Participants learn core skills to turn data, narrative, and visuals into a complete and compelling data story, leading to effective and efficient communications to confidently promote decision making and action.
