About the Course

Listening is essential for any role that requires high levels of interaction. Efficiently and effectively gaining an understanding of client needs, stakeholder requirements or colleague's perspectives leads to strong relationship building, better conflict resolution, clearer decision making and persuasive communications.


Key topics will be covered through a combination of exploring essential principles, interactive discussion and exercises. These will include the meaning of active listening, solutions to common listening challenges, the role of body language, and how to improve communication as a result of listening well.


Participants will learn and practice techniques to enable them to harness the power of being an active listener to enrich their capability for collaborating and communicating.
